WASTED: The Food Challenge @ 86'd Mondays at The Drake Hotel

86’d is back! Now hosted by ToFoodies (aka Danielle Finestone aka us), the legendary once-a-month culinary showdown at the Drake Hotel brings together food lovers + industry alike. On Monday, January 21, 86'd presented WASTED: A Food Challenge. Beating the #BlueMonday blues, friendlies swung by The Drake Hotel lounge to watch some of Toronto’s best chefs attempt to cook while creating as little food waste as possible. There will be free sampling + a panel of judges who will crown one chef the winner of this sustainability challenge.

And the winner was…. Reverie At The Park! The People’s Choice Award went to Ama! Entry was free to the public, with a suggested charitable donation upon arrival that will benefit The Stop Community Food Centre. Mystery boxes provided by The Village Grocer. Sustainable cocktail menu by Absolut Vodka.
